I Love Me Some Pettin's

Description

Well, it's been nearly a month and a half now since I traveled up to Seattle to the largest North West anime convention, SakuraCon.

There's been a few photos of my costume floating around, others accounts and sites,
but I have no formal pictures that I've uploaded myself
(beyond that half bit of me in the picture 'Wrong Game' ).

SakuraCon 2008 marks my biggest adventure in costume making to date (although this summers trek will surely out do this one).
My pals had decided that they wanted to go as group from Tales of Symphonia.
All My favorite characters had already been taken, and I also didn't feeling like going as another human.
So then I decided to go as the games 'mascot', Noishe.
I love Noishe anyway, so it was perfect to do.

I didn't wanna crawl on all fours, so I looked into the fursuit making methods.
The head a feet were both made from foam carvings then covered in faux fur.
I had help from my mother to do the body (because we were pressed for time), and the tail was also a pain to make (sadly, the tail is not visible in this picture).

All in all, I'm very happy with it's outcome.
There are some things I'd like to fix up (eyes and the body), but I think this costume will be lasting me quite some time.

Onto my next adventure of making, yup, you guessed it, Tokunaga!

Wanna see my costume in action? Then here is a link to a dance Yuffie and I created.
The dance seems to be catching on, and I'd most certainly love it if you danced your little bottom off to our dance moves at your next convention...
Or any where you like!
